The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1445 VCNL4010 Click board features a VCNL4010 proximity and ambient light sensor. This module combines an infrared emitter and PIN photodiode for proximity measurement with a range of up to 20 cm. It offers 16-bit resolution and operates via an I2C interface at 3.3V or 5V input voltage. Ideal for consumer and industrial applications, mobile phones, digital cameras, and tablet PCs. Key features include an integrated IR emitter, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and signal conditioning IC, along with an interrupt function and low standby current consumption of 1.5 µA. Compatibility with mikroBUS.
