Technical description of the product (MIKROE-1198):

The MIKROE-1198 VOLT Board is a battery charger featuring the MCP73832. It is an ideal power source for devices that need a reliable battery or USB power supply. On-board battery and MINI-B USB connectors are provided. The STAT line is open collector and must be pulled up to MCU power level for monitoring battery charging state. Charge and Power LEDs are provided for visual monitoring of board operation. The SENSE line can be connected to an ADC input for battery charge level monitoring. The board can be used for powering a target device via provided VSYS and GND screw terminals. Interface is USB. Integration is via Screw Terminals. Input Voltage is 5V (via USB). Compatibility is USB.
